We only use the finest lenses in your eyewear because we want you to be completely satisfied.
Progressive lenses allow a seamless transition from your distance prescription to your reading prescription without a visible line. We use Varilux brand progressive lenses because through technological innovations they provide a smoother transition and a wider field of vision than other progressives. This allows for easier adaptation and enhanced comfort for your new pair of glasses. Don’t be fooled by “cheaper” progressives, this is one area where you really do get what you pay for. Feel free to discuss with Dr. Wisniewski his personal experiences with progressives.
Anti-glare lenses reduce the glare from things such as headlights and computer screens, resulting in less eye fatigue and strain. We use Crizal anti-glare lenses; Crizal coatings will not wear off like other anti-glare treatments and also has a durable scratch-resistant surface. Our optometrist believes everyone can benefit from Crizal anti-glare lenses. We warranty lenses with a Crizal coating for no additional charge, inquire with our optician for more details.
Transitions a.k.a. Photochromic Lenses
Photochromic lenses are designed to darken in the sunlight. Our eye doctor recommends Transition brand photochromic lenses because they change faster, get darker and are clearer than other brands indoors. Transition lenses also block 100% of UVA and UVB rays.
Blue Light Blocking Lenses
Recent new evidence has shown that blue light emitted from electronic device screens can cause more damage than previously thought. We endorse and sell BluTech lenses, these lenses are the industry leader in reducing the amount of blue light getting to your retina. Ask Dr. Wisniewski about blue light protection.
We also offer specialty eyewear such as safety glasses, sports eyewear and prescription swim and ski goggles.
